God’s magnificent creation

narrowed to the joy between

the lover and the loved

all things external paling

to insignificance

in the face of the love

of one human for an other

After watching Pippa Gumbel’s response to her

husband’s words during the fourth Alpha session

and realizing that I often experience this myself.
