Broken Body

"This is My body, broken for you

eat, drink, remember and believe

I did this for you"

the time honoured words caress my soul

feeling the bread and the wine in my hand

remembrance of life flows into my body

claiming as my own the love of God

once again

and I rejoice

in spite of pain

this body shall pass

its pain as well

my soul eternal has been saved

all is well
