my dad died a few years ago

he was a good man

many came to bid farewell

and offer my family comfort

all of which we appreciated

I remember someone saying

“Don’t worry Pete,

you’ll see your dad again.”

I know this

Dad and Mom raised no fool

when comes my turn to die

I know that I’ll see Dad again

but I imagine it’ll go like this

when first I come into Heaven

“Hi Dad! It’s sure good to …
