How Church Feels This Morning

Dawn breaks darkly

Joy finds no footing

Despair entangles routine

In Your house this morning

caressed by the voices of your saints

their praises washing over me

like the water so many years ago

and I am renewed

New dawn has broken

Joy has its foundation

Gratitude permeates duty

It feels good, very good;

thank You Father

yet again
