Progressiveness

it’s not progression but regression

Sodom and Gomorrah had it too

as did Corinth, Rome, and others

too numerous to count

you are nothing new who think you are

it all has been before

and all will be again

it’s not progression but rebellion given form

if it were truly progressive,

would it always be the same?
