Leaving Earth
A gleam, a glimmer reflection of the skies within the shallow pool fantastic for its depth
A dream unending barely known as such a vast, unsated yearn to be where that light is
How many good men gone the way all flesh must go have seen and dreamed and longed the pleasing of that hope
Begun atop columns of fire scant miles short of the goal ending where tomorrow starts
