It’s A Wonderful Life!

No man is a failure who still lives

(to paraphrase Clarence Odbody)

inside, we are all George Bailey

we have each our forfeit dreams

are not where we thought to be

life has taken turns unexpected

led where we may not have gone

had we more to say in the going

and yet, despite its endless twist

we work and pay and live and die

our great God saves all who ask

and for all its pain and fragile joy

life is grand and well worth living
