May My Small Voice Praise You!

Every word I speak

is with a small voice spoken

No vast congregation

attends my every thought

No proud accolades

cause men to line up to hear me

My power to sway many

not only has been taken

it is as has never been

Mine is a small voice speaking

Timid and subdued

But even so, my God

may the all of my smallness

be given in praise to You
