a rebellious pen, a lover's pen

the pen of one who's been there

her words move across the page

as having done a full day's work

haphazard, erratic, unpredictable

real

reflecting each day's ordinaryness

as from one ecstatic to be alive

who knows grief intermingles joy

her words are not mine

they could never be mine

yet

after reading, I know
