the answered prayer

suddenly

surprisingly

in ways unexpected

the fervent prayer answered

God works in mysterious ways

His wonders to perform

and my heart is glad

those who have faith

in the God who lives

will not be forsaken

I have learned it

I believe it

God is always with me

for He is my God

Him alone will I serve
