on another’s beside

also high, also angry

but only half of you

have what you call

‘healthcare’

the other half of you

dies

and only half of you

have what you call

choice

the other half of you

dies

your placards angrily demand

your rights

your choice

which you would lose

could they speak

oblivious to this harsh irony

your placards angrily deny

their rights

their choice

which they would beg

could they speak

the only right you want

is the right to kill

the only choice you grant

is the choice to kill
