The Other Side of Paradise

Captain James T. Kirk once said

“Man wasn’t meant for Paradise.

None of us.

He stagnates if he has no ambition,

no desire to be more than he is.”

Captain Kirk was wrong

we were made for Paradise

and when God welcomes us Home

we will there become

who we were meant to be

but Kirk was also right

we were made to do things

and when God welcomes us Home

we will there continue

our work begun on Earth
