They Stand On Guard

they stand on guard for me

these three

these coughing, sniffling three

they guard my health quite closely

and whether this is selfish

as I’m the only one who goes out

or whether this is noble

as they want to keep me healthy

you be your own judge

but I

I will believe the best

and smile
