To Opa and Oma
you said you would miss me last night as we talked for what may be the last time for a time
then sitting on the couch silent staring at the window slowly growing darker the sun was setting I guess it has been for a while now
I’ll miss you Opa (and you too, Oma you both have meant a lot always) and how we used to talk I’ll remember you with love everywhere I go I wish I didn’t have to my life is calling me on and I must go
I’ll see you when I can
