December 1975
A Dream
I woke up forgetting where I was
'Till I heard the rustle of leaves
And a crackle of a twig
As a deer stepped down to drink
I heard a bird call from the sky
I couldn't see it, he was up so high
But he flew down
And for me sang a special song
As he sang I seemed to float away
Following notes over the woods
Then he stopped
And I slept a deep, long, sleep
As I slept I dreamt about the wood
About the deer, birds, bears and trees
I saw a world
And it was living in peace
I saw lambs sleeping with lions
And a baby walking among them
The fiercest
And this life was beautiful
