Change of Mind

by honour bound

to those now gone

we regard them now

as heroes

who did little more than die

without justice

I pause

pondering

my dictionary says

a figure renowned

for exceptional

courage

and

fortitude

corrected

I continue

so I guess

they are heroes

and need not my

disparagement

of the sentiment

that makes them so

sorry
