do I weigh least at noon
when sun by pluck and earth by push
together conspire to remove me from this ball
or do I weigh least at night
when Earth its spin and curve about its Sun
work to throw me further than in the day
do I weigh most at night
when earth and sun united pull
at my feet to plant them firmly in this soil
or do I weigh most at day
when Earth’s orbit would press me close
to the soil that stops my outward leap
a multiplicity of forces
act on me each moment anew
were it not for the grace of God
I've no idea where I'd land
