Do Not Mourn Me
do not mourn me
when I die
for I do not mourn
having crossed the final bridge
to the golden land of God
my tears and pain have ceased
do not mourn
do not mourn them
when I die
who give me their love
found upon the love of God
for they mourn but my moving
as to an other room
do not mourn
do mourn for those
when I die
who know not my hope
but see my life ending here
nor believing I live on
as they themselves can live
do mourn them
do mourn for they
when they die
who have not my life
knowing neither God nor hope
will find in death endless grief
lost to Joy forever
do mourn them
mourn not for me
have no tears
for I have been redeemed
mourn for those who do not know
hold them close in constant prayer
that they may have my joy
and not mourn
