I long for Your salvation, oh Lord

how long must I wait?

I call on Your name every hour

when shall I see Your promised aid?

You alone are my help

You alone my strength

no other help have I but You

there is no other to whom I can cry

oh Lord, come quickly to my aid

lest I die and cease Your praise
