Every Now and Again
every now and again I’ll know I’m a horrid poet who’s aspiration, outstripping my ability leaves me to lie silent in its dust (and I know I KNOW! I’m neither Dickinson nor Frost) yet scrabbling here at other’s words I think the now and again might be untrue or at least incompletely true (for I know I KNOW! I’m not an Instapoet either)
