Evil Screams Against Love’s Whisper

Evil screams into my ear "you are worthless"

incessantly presents many substantial proofs

that i am no more than an insubstantial man

but Love's insistent whisper says "Be at peace"

reminds me that as I faithfully serve The God

He has called me His own, and that is enough
