Fruit

the Bible says a lot about fruit

that by our fruit we are known

that a good tree cannot bear bad fruit

nor can a bad one bear good

that the fruits of the Spirit are good

and that if we abide in Him

we will yield a fruitful harvest

this last was said to me again, today

and I, sadly, found I hoped I doubted

what this more learned man had said

for either my fruit is not visible

or I do not abide in Him

at all
