God IS Good

there can be no doubt that God is good

creation is too well made to contradict it

water flows, plants grow, living beings thrive

that God is and is good cannot be doubted

and if creation were to falter, crack, break

water cease, plants shrivel, living being die

that God is and is good cannot be doubted

God is good no matter our circumstance

God is good whether good or ill we know

our every tear or smile proof that He sustains
