you end up telling yourself you'll get used to it

that it didn't really matter, that much, how it was

if the neighbour's garden had two rows of slabs

or one, though you'll never stop your wondering if

you'll reassure yourself that in a universe like this

work of an infinite Maker, who also gave us laughter

pretty much anything that could happen, just might

so at the end of the day, there's no need to worry

if two rows becoming one is a sign of dementia

but rest instead on knowing, if change did happen

(and a comfort to know it could, even if it didn't)

God is in His heaven, and all is well with the world

and whatever transpires, even if, maybe, it didn't

transpires, or doesn't, for His honour and glory

Infinite Possibility
