It’s Only Me

it’s probably only me

I’m so sensitive

the slightest slight

overwhelms

and I brood

needlessly, I’m sure

after all

who would willingly harm

one as harmless as I

they’re all in my mind

these perceived slights

no reality

no substantive evidence

or fact supports them

but ignorance
