Poetry Prize

So-and-so has just won a prize for

their book of poems "Such-and-such"

the judges, appreciative, responded

and gave to them their highest award

alongside their enthusiastic accolades

praising the fresh, unique perspective

too few had the ability to apprehend

but there’s an often subtle difference

between the fresh and unique perspective

and the overwhelmingly incomprehensible

silly judges
