Rain

rain falls from low grey cloud

through leaves of the Laurel

splashing upon the walkway

dancing along the brickwork

into the glory of the garden

the sound of rain surrounds me

falls as blessing upon my ear

as words of the Book before me

fall as blessing upon my soul
