Relief at St. Josephs Oratory

long and silent

dark and empty

wandering these halls

footsteps silent

in the shadows

lost in myself

in relief

and carved in stone

around a corner

just turned

sudden awareness

of a sacrifice

so freely made

floods me

drives me to weep

He went through this

for such as I?
