Rumours of Wars
“You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened.”
it is hard not to be afraid my connection is intimate wars and rumours of wars threaten my selfish peace
“From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”
wars may come, or threaten fear may inhabit every word and yet I have been assured those who stand are blessed
“As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God; Whom I myself shall behold, And whom my eyes will see and not another.”
despite what may come to be I know that my Saviour reigns He shall call at the end of days and I shall run into open arms
On a sermon by Russ Worrad at Emmanuel Orillia, April 26, 2026 Scripture quotations from: Matthew 24; Daniel 12; Job 19
