Sadness (again)

I’m not sure if I’m the saddest person

I’m quite certain that I’m not

or even if I have sufficient reason to be sad

on a day like today

almost certainly not

yet I am and I think I do

and no matter the shovel I use

I can’t dig myself out of this hole
