should you deride my fall

as if my fall makes God a fool

and shows my faith a farce

you must not realize

my fall no more makes God a fool

than shows my faith a farce

thus fail to see that

I am the fool my fall reveals

my obstinance the farce

my fall shows all my need for God

my faith the truth of my salvation
