thank you, my Lord

for your love

and your grace

to the man of sin

I am

I called upon you

in my despair

the sadness of my life

and you answered me

relieving me

from all my fears

showing in your grace

mercy to me

more unworthy

than all else on earth

claiming yet again

this creature for your own

though my life may not be smooth

though trial and error come

I will rest in the Lord

my God alone

He is able to comfort me

and sustain me in my ill
