the purpose of the line connecting us

with knots both secure and strong

is to help us help each other stand

this mountain on which we climb

that if either one of us would fall

the standing help the other rise

not fallen pull the other down

if you slip and fall and begin to slide

I will not budge though you pull hard

that I may restore you to your path

I beg you do the same for me

that together we made gaze in awe

the gloried vistas from its peak
