May 1986
the song has now been sung its melodies slowly fade now the tears of sadness well where once lived only joy gone the pictures from the wall all that are left to me are scattered memories
private hell for now at least I live on, again alone but for the love of God shown forth in peace an loyal friends the pain is there but still I live
I'd not yet read any of the John Carter stories, as far as I knew “still I live” was entirely my own - June 5, 2012
