To Those Who Pray

my friends I thank you

before God I thank you

unasked

you prayed for me

standing before God in prayer

asking for His help

where you could not go

true friendship is nothing more

I now live in jubilation

your prayers were answered well

my life is dancing on

there are many upon this earth

to whom I owe my life

my growing faith in God

may God reward you well

on earth I have no greater gift

than the love of faithful friends
