sometimes we just don’t know

we have no idea of the darkness

we’ve lived under it for so long

it feels like how things should be

even if it’s how they shouldn’t be

it feels so normal to squint at life

see the world as it really isn’t

we just don’t know, have no idea

that life can be more than dark
