Welcoming Committee
The new kid in school He walks to the door His heart beats wild As his hand extends Turns the handle And he shuffles in
The room's full of stares That pick him apart Like a puzzle Teacher swoops in to help Him find his way Against the tide
Following him now To his front row seat And nail him there Lunch-time has a new game Called "Pick on Him" Them against him
For a while, least-ways Till he feels at home And won't run there They will let him in Once he proves his stuff It'll be okay
