in this year ahead

what has God in store

that we do not know

where will He lead us

that we have not seen

what will He show us

that we will praise Him

what days await us

in this year ahead

God is not surprised

is already there

has prepared that day

to meet His purpose

that what He shows us

will cause us praise Him
