Fear

some fear

that socialism

or worse, communism

or even worse, dictatorship

are just around the corner

others fear

COVID will be used

or worse, is orchestrated

or even worse, was originated

to purge superfluous lives

and me?

I’m just happy to be here

behind a front line of people

working to keep me alive

and that feels pretty good
