in the clasp of a hand

in the laugh of a child

in the joy of a song

He calls to us

in every good and perfect thing

that we

His fallen and reluctant children

may come to Him

may come to know Him

may come to love Him

may come to praise Him

He gives us these wonderful gifts

that we are not left wondering

are rather filled with wonderment

of His inexhaustible glory

He gives us all these wonderful things

that we may know who He is

that we become His children
