It’s Sad, Really

today is a bad day

I am sad

I feel I am:

inconsequential

overlooked

ridiculed

alone

unreasonably so

desperate to smile

I look to the Internet

knowing others have stood

where I am

and the only help I see?

“do this”

“do that”

“do the other thing”

they may as well have said

“It’s your fault”
