On Laughter

a fellowship of friends

seated joyfully

in the halls of God

can Rolaids find solace here

in the absence of Kings

(humour for a Sunday night)

maybe not

but humour is a gift of God

laughter is relief un-bought

as smiles we pass along

these hardwood pews

in which we sit

and worship God

let us praise our God

who lets us laugh

before His throne tonight

in this too

let us rejoice

Inspired by Veronica Bylsma who passed

Rolaids in church in place of Kings.
