A quarter-after-three

I was wide-eyed and ready-to-go

Four-oh-five

I wanted to get this day a-movin'

Twenty-two-past-five

I couldn’t stay in bed any longer

Seven, waking to ringing alarms

I wonder why I’m so exhausted

yet why I’m so much less depressed

than was the more rested me

this week’s very dark Monday
