On the Three Mornings Poems

The Three Mornings poems that follow, were written on three different mornings in the past week. On each morning we had been told of the trials that various friends have been going through. In some cases, the news has been devastating. From our human perspective, our prayers may often seem to be unanswered; these poems are my response to the doubt that may tempt us away from our faith, and are a hopeful encouragement to keep on reaching for the hem of His robe.

And a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak; for she was saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will get well.” But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” At once the woman was made well.
