The Apostle Paul said I am without excuse

said that what I need to know of God can be known

simply by examining the things around me

King David of Jerusalem said the same thing

said that the heavens above declare the glory of God

by means easily understandable even to me

It is not God who is in need of proof, they say

it is I who must believe the revelation He gave

tossing aside all my various arguments for Him

as worthless things beneath my consideration

for the all surpassing joy of knowing that He Is

The reality of God is so self-evident

that trying to prove Him is ludicrous
