I am still

me

after

twenty seven and

one half years

three cars

ten jobs

half a dozen

girl friends

countless other friends

several episodes

of disaster

thousands of snap shots

millions of

changes of

mind

sporadic realizations

of God’s mercy

innumerable jokes

       most were laughable

two hundred and fifty thousand

kilometres

and billions of

light years

I still am

me

which makes me

a constantly changing

rather normal

kind of human
