I think it was Clarke

(or maybe it was Asimov)

who said

"I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought,

but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

(no, on second thought I think it was actually Einstein)

either way

he knew of some climactic event

a catastrophic event, even

where bullets and bombs, non-existing

were replaced by sticks and stones

and since, as Ezekiel has said

that the weapons used against Israel

would be used as fuel for seven years

(and we know that bullets and bombs

are quite unsuitable for fuel)

and also since, as Calvin liked to say

“All truth is God’s truth”

it stands to reason that Clarke

(or was it Asimov? (no it was Einstein))

was right in saying that

World War IV (or V (or VI (or VII even)))

could indeed be fought with sticks and stones

for hate

regardless of its weapons (or lack)

will reign until Jesus does
